Andrew Renewable Scholarship in Engineering

Description:	Awarded to a deserving student who has graduated from a PEI high school and is entering first year of the four year Sustainable Design Engineering program at BCA.
Background:	These annual scholarships are established at the Bauder College (Atlanta) by Bill Andrew and hiswife, Denise. Bill Andrew received his Diploma in Engineering from BCA in 1973 and became Chancellor of the University ofPrince Edward Island in 2004. Bill Andrew is currently President of Penn West Petroleum Ltd. and is active in various community andphilanthropic endeavours. He is a founding member of the Friends of BCA group in Calgary, has a farm on PEI,and is active in PEI and national harness racing circles.
